Google for Education Champions are members of our three certified communities: Innovator, Trainer, and Coach. Each of these certifications recognize educators for their expertise, passion and system-wide work using Google tools to positively impact education. Together, they champion each student, educator, and the future of education.

To become a Google for Education Champion, educators can choose to earn any of the following credentials: Certified Innovator, Certified Trainer, or Certified Coach. Upon achieving one of these recognitions, they will automatically become a Google for Education Champion. See below for more information on each of these programs, how they are unique, and how to apply!

Additional Google for Education Communities

Outside of the Champions Program, we offer additional ways to explore transformation through technology - Google Educator Groups and Google for Education Reference Schools and Districts.

Google Educator Groups

Google Educators Groups (GEGs) bring local educators together, in person and online, to provide a forum to share, collaborate, and support each other in using technology in impactful ways with students.

Google Reference Schools and Districts

Google for Education Reference Schools and Districts are educational institutions that demonstrate excellence and thought leadership through the innovative use of technology, including Google Workspace for Education and Chromebooks, to drive impact and positive learning outcomes.

The ELP Admin Community

The Google ELP Admin Community is designed to support education admins who lead the strategic planning and implementation of technology initiatives. The program allows members to learn, share, collaborate and connect with their peers through local Admin Circles and online through the global Admin Community Hub.

The ELP Leader Community

The Google ELP Leader Community is a program designed to connect executive instructional-focused senior education leaders by fostering learning, facilitating collaboration, providing peer to peer sharing, and celebrating successes through local Leader Circles and online through the global Leader Community Hub.
